Premiers
We open the 2026-2027 anniversary season in September with the new production Djumbala! of Vernon Chatlein & Friends in co-production with Podium Mozaïek. The world premiere will take place at an international festival in Germany. The Dutch premiere will be on October 11, 2026 at Podium Mozaïek, Amsterdam.
Starting in November, the four Oorkaan musicians, along with spoken word artist Jeannine Valeriano, will tour the country with cross-media production Bird Child and Mammoth Tree.
Another new production will follow later in the anniversary year: Boss, with the Guy Salamon Trio and directed by Jochem Stavenuiter. ‘Boss’ will premiere on Jan. 10, 2027, at the BIMHUIS.
