Moussé Dramé
Moussé Dramé

Moussé says he was surrounded by music since he was born. Every month there was a "Djalifoli" at his home. The important instruments for this celebration, such as the djembé, talking drum, doundoun, kora, kamalinkoné, bolon, xalam and the calabashes in water were always with the family. Moussé remembers a huge djembé, which all the children in the family loved. He was like a piece of gold to them. Since 1998, Moussé has lived in Amsterdam, and in 1999 he and his wife Turid Dramé set up the company Djembé Dramé. He also conducts workshops in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, the United States, Switzerland to China where they have since discovered him.
