The van Nielie family breaks down the tent

The Family of Nielie, a brand new family, has recently been living together under one roof. Along with a dog, a piglet, grandma and a philosopher in the closet. It is winter, everyone is cold, Jonathan has a birthday and then.... something happens that makes the sun shine and the Family of Nielie suddenly find themselves in the heart of summer. But the Family of Nielie is not alone. Is Jonathan seeing double, or are those really two girls who look exactly alike? And what's coming at them with stiff steps-bleep-bleep-bleep? Why does Grandma Wil keep getting mysterious phone calls?

When great danger threatens, Jonathan seems the only one who can save the family. But where has he gone? Can something be real and not real at the same time? With the Family of Nielie, you never know. No wonder they end up in a world where in winter the sun always shines, robots have hearts, grandmothers get mysterious missions and nothing is what it seems.

The Family of Nielie is a co-production with Oorkaan, packed with songs, live music and puppets. Adventurous musical theater for the whole family, ages 6 and up.
