Dreamblowers

How does it sound?

WHAT DOES FANTASY SOUND LIKE?
Four boys breathe life into dreams. With the keys of fantasy they open doors to unprecedented dream worlds. Full of youthful wonder and sometimes a touch naughty, they playfully challenge you to dream along. Or party dreams. Or dance dreams. Or dreaming back.

Dreamers is a joyful concert in which the four players of the New Amsterdam Clarinet Quartet magically switch smoothly between different styles of music by Gershwin, Satie, Mahler and Dvořák. Because in dreams anything goes!

"Mart van Berckel's work is visual, poetic and boundlessly imaginative. Fascinated by our subconscious, he puts worlds on stage with a logic all his own, which sometimes seems to come straight from our dreams or nightmares. "
