Oorkaan seeks: Manager of acquisition and relationship management (28-32 hours) (m/f/x)
Oorkaan is seeking a manager of acquisition and relationship management for 28-32 hours per week effective mid-September.
Do you like it when the productions we make can be heard and seen in as many places in the world as possible? Do you love music and networking? Then we are looking for you, to maintain contacts with all our stakeholders.
What will you do?
- Discuss with the programmers of concert halls, theaters, festivals and education umbrellas, national and international what we can bring to their audiences in the coming seasons.
- Strengthen and deepen Oorkaan's existing relationships and establish new ones. In addition to programmers, these include funds, sponsors and patrons.
- Attend conferences and trade shows to represent Oorkaan.
- Research what is going on in the field and strengthen Oorkaan's position in it. In this you work closely with the marketing department of Oorkaan.

- You are a good listener and know how to make connections between what programmers are looking for and what Oorkaan has to offer
- You love to network and know when to be where to speak to our stakeholders.
- You know how to get the Oorkaan story across like no one else
- You have a drive for innovation and know how to enthuse colleagues to do so
- Good in languages. Dutch and English are in order.
For almost 25 years, Oorkaan has been creating theatrical concerts in which the music is the most important thing and there are only musicians on stage. We play in concert halls and theaters and sometimes in a community center or at a festival. We do this for everyone as young as two years old, for small and large ears, for schools or for the whole family. Our performances can be seen and heard in the Netherlands and abroad.
From our spacious and bright office in Amsterdam-West, we work with a small team, our own ensemble of four musicians and various guest ensembles. Together we create two to three new performances a year and play about 120 concerts. We spend a lot of time and attention to everyone's functioning in the team and to everyone's involvement in what is ultimately heard and seen on stage. We want to make our team as diverse as the music we perform in the coming years.
We offer:
- A salary according to the CAO Drama & Dance, scale VII (€ 3,055 - € 4,690 based on 40 hours), 8 % vacation allowance and € 400 year-end bonus (based on 40 hours)
- A one-year appointment, which we will extend upon good performance
- 27 vacation days and 12 Atv days for full employment
