The Music Factory
How does it sound?
The five men of Calefax work in a tube factory. Every day they do the same thing and they like it. So great is the panic when one day no more orders come in. The men decide to experiment with the tubes and make the strangest instruments. They also happen to sound very nice! The orders start pouring in again and the music factory is established.
A humorous musical performance without words, but with lots of music, from Byrd to Debussy and from Scarlatti to Prokofiev, played by Calefax Reed Quintet. The Music Factory has been played with great success for years and was winner of the Junge Ohren Preis in 2012.
