The Postman and the Angel

How does it sound?

A great little Christmas revue with Harry van Rijthoven, Ilse Warringa and musicians from the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra.

The musicians are eager to give a beautiful Christmas concert. But the letter carrier throws a spanner in the works: he is angry and despondent because the Christmas card department is discontinued. While Christmas cards are so important. Then the angel appears, who wants to save Christmas, the concert and the letter carrier. Whether she will succeed, we do not know yet, because the letter carrier is very grumpy! What we do know is that there will be lots of beautiful music from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker. And, of course, lots of familiar Christmas songs.

Last played December 27, 2013.
