Lisa's Big Journey
How does it sound?
What does the moon sound like? Little Lisa can't sleep without the songs her grandmother used to sing. Lisa loves her very much, but Grandma is no longer here. So Lisa goes on a journey to look for her. The journey is long and sometimes difficult. But the musicians and their music go along as traveling companions. A performance in which the scenes are carried by music ranging from Haydn to Piazzolla and Hungarian gypsy music. Ulrike Quade, in her acclaimed style, created the puppet Lisa. Powerful puppetry gives Lisa life and guts.

Lisa in the press!
The Telegraph on Lisa's great journey on Nov. 12, 2009: "The entry sounds immediately appealing as violinist Peter Brunt deploys Monti's Csardas, accompanied by Michiel Weidner behind the cimbalom. [...] During the search, the young audience becomes familiar with the pop and reactions come from the audience."
